The Opus Group has named Michael Coppock as COO, overseeing global systems and technology, talent and development, legal, M&A integration and operational strategy.
Prior to his
appointment, Coppock was director of strategy and global operations for Airbnb, establishing the company's strategy and business operations internationally. He led the company's partnership with
the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games.
Before that, the new hire worked at Charles Schwab, and managed product strategy for Wells Fargo Wallet and M&A investment banking at Jefferies and
Credit Suisse.
Kim Kopetz, Opus Group CEO, said Coppock's "combination of breadth and depth makes him exactly the leader we need to evolve our infrastructure for the next phase of this
journey."
The Opus Group was again placed on Inc's 5000 list, thanks to a 70% revenue increase over four years and a 52% increase in team headcount. Comprised of Opus, MAS and Verve, it has
offices in across the U.S. and in Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Singapore and Sydney.
Added Coppock: "The Opus Group and its agency network have built incredible momentum by putting extraordinary
live brand experiences at the center of client success."
The agency's client work includes Shake Shack, Dell Technologies, TikTok and AWS.
