Ankler Media has announced an annual $20 price increase for subscriptions, starting Feb. 10.
The hike will help finance premium journalism, The Ankler says.
In other news, The Ankler has added veteran television reporter Lesley Goldberg to its Series Business newsletter team. Goldberg will work alongside Elaine Low and Manori Ravindran,
Goldberg comments, “I’m overjoyed to reunite with Janice Min, the visionary editor who originally promoted me from copy editor to television reporter.”
Last month, Ankler Media announced the launch of Like & Subscribe, a product focused on the creator economy, written by Natalie Jarvey.
The company says its newsletters have over 135,000 subscribers and that its podcasts have drawn over 1.3 million downloads. It also claims that its ad revenue grew by 500% YoY in 2024, although it did not release a figure. The Y Combinator-backed company was launched in 2022.
