Martin Sorrell-led S4 Capital, owner of Media.Monks, MightyHive and other
agencies, has released a teaser of sorts for its upcoming fourth quarter and full-year earnings report. The firm has also announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Mary Basterfield, has given
notice.
The earnings news isn’t great but it’s not unexpected—the firm has cautioned several times in recent months that it would be
losing ground for the full year 2024.

The firm now estimates that the net organic revenue decline for 2024 will be approximately 11%. The company also disclosed that a non-cash
impairment charge will be included in the full-year results, currently scheduled to be released on March 24.
The firm said it would offer more detailed guidance at that time on the
outlook for 2025. “Current indications are for net revenue and operational EBITDA [earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization] to be broadly similar in 2025 to
2024.”
Basterfield has been with the company for over three years. The company said she’s given a year’s notice and will continue working in
her current post and participate in the search for her successor.
