V-Day Faves: Bro-quet For Guys, Booty Call For Gals, Body Scans For Couples

Can Valentine’s Day be healthy? With the pseudo-holiday a week away, we’ve perused our inbox and newswires to choose our favorite health/wellness/grooming-related V-Day campaigns and promotions for 2025.

Let’s start with an unlikely combo: soap and condoms.

Dr. Squatch has teamed with Trojan for a rarity: a Valentine’s Day gift geared towards men.

Called the “Bro-quet of Dreams” and sold online for $69.69 (get it?), this is said to be “a spin on the classic red rose bouquet.” Only this time, the bouquet -- oops ‘bro-quet”  --appears to be red ribbons wrapped around six three-packs of condoms and six packages of “Bricc’d Up Bars.”

The latter, also available individually for $8 and in $24 for a three-pack with a pack of condoms thrown in, are soap infused with Horny Goat Weed Extract, silk peptides, and what Dr. Squatch calls “the captivating scent of pink pepper and rich black vanilla, layered with bold notes of leather and musk.” It’s all supposed to be “confidence-building.”

Condoms are also part of a gift for gals: a free limited-edition “Booty Call Bundle” from Goodwipes, which sells plant-based flushable wipes, body wipes and “down there care.” In addition to Nixit brand condoms and Goodwipes rosewater wipes, the bundle includes Panic Panties, Personal Fav lube and a Jill Zarin Home candle.

The freebies are offered to consumers who have pre-registered via text. Goodwipes doesn’t say how many bundles will be given out, but those who don’t get one will receive “exclusive promo codes to shop directly from Goodwipes and partner brands.”

The offer is being promoted with the help of Ally Shapiro, who seems to be known primarily as the daughter of “Real Housewives of New York’s”’ Jill Zarin.

Lacey Chabert, meanwhile, may best be known as the star of over 40 Hallmark Channel movies, including "An Unexpected Valentine,” which debuted this past weekend. But she’s also starring in another new film, “It Was Always You,” on behalf of Philosophy’s Purity facial cleanser.

In this 90-second tongue-in-cheek social media spot, filmed by Broken Seal Productions in the style of a Hallmark movie trailer, Chabert’s character returns to her family's farmhouse. “Do you remember the way your first love made you glow?” asks her mom.  The daughter then runs into her former boyfriend, but eventually, as a narrator intones, “this Valentine’s Day, Lacey Chabert will find the one she’s been searching for.”

She finds her true love in the bathroom -- a bottle of Purity cleanser -- to whom she confesses, “It was always you.”

And what about a gift for couples?

Here's a nontraditional one, for sure. Craft Body Scan, which runs a growing chain of preventive health screening centers, is offering a “Couple’s Heart and Lung Scan” for $149, a considerable saving over the normal cost of $2,170.

You can hear the conversation now: "Darling, let's ensure we have many more Valentine's Days to come!"

“All it takes is one‘date’ and both of you will have the peace of mind that comes from knowing whether you need to address any hidden health issues now,” the diagnostics provider says on its scheduling page.

More selling points: Craft Body Scan notes that 80% of heart attacks can be prevented through early detection and proactive wellness, that screenings have been linked to a 25% reduction in hospital admissions for lung-related conditions, and that poor lung function is linked to a 90% higher risk of cardiovascular disease.

The offer, running through Feb. 21, is available to couples over 40 years old only -- and is limited geographically.

This Craft Body Scan now operates in Tulsa, Raleigh, Charlotte, Nashville, Tampa and Austin, with Columbus, Ohio, set to come on board soon.

Decidedly less healthy, but definitely more colorful, are “Toke With Me” Valentine’s Day cones (pre-rolled joints without the filling) from rolling paper brand DaySavers. They’re described as “candy heart colored filter tips with cheeky stoner sayings to let your buds or blaze bae know they’re on your mind.”

Those phrases include “Baked Bestie,” “Hotbox,” “Be My Bud” and “Blow Me.”

“Toke With Me” costs $7.49 for 21 cones, and anyone who purchases the pack online through Monday gets entered in a sweepstakes to win a $100 American Express gift card.
