Acadia Taps Amazon, Tinuiti Vet For Retail Strategy

 

Following a slew of new retail media business assignments, independent media agency Acadia has named Patrick Petriello Director of Retail Marketplace Strategy, a new post. 

The appointment follows the recent selection of Acadia by Gerber Childrenswear, United Sports Brands, Suja Life, Sunsweet, and Biossance for its integrated retail practice, which fields more than 100 professionals and manages over $400 million in media.

Petriello worked as an account manager at Amazon before joining CPC Strategy where he launched its Amazon services line of business, one of the first providers in the space. After Tinuiti acquired CPC in 2019, he continued to lead that agency’s Amazon marketplace practice. 

“Pat is one of the pioneers and founding players in the industry, so he understands the psychology of retail more deeply than anyone else in the business,” said Jared Belsky, CEO of Acadia.  

Commenting on his new role, Petriello said, “I intend to up-level our teams to speak to each stakeholder within a client and retailer organization. That can make our whole agency smarter on our feet to give clients faster, more powerful marketing solutions.”
