Technicolor Creative Studios, a major provider of production services to the
advertising and other industries, is preparing to shut its U.S. operations according to the multiple reports.
The move comes after months of reported financial turmoil at the
company.

The U.S. operations include production shops The Mill, MPC Advertising and Mikros Animation.
Trade publication Reel 360 obtained a WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining
Notification Act) notice which it reported was sent to hundreds of U.S. employees last Friday in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
“As we have communicated over the past months, Technicolor
has been facing severe financial challenges,” the notice read. “Despite exhaustive efforts—including restructuring initiatives, discussions with potential investors, and exploring
acquisition opportunities—we have been unable to secure a viable path forward.”
“If no viable solution is identified by the end of today, Friday, February 21, 2025, we will be
required to cease our U.S. operations as early as Monday, February 24, 2025.”
Officials at Technicolor Creative Studios could not be immediately be reached for comment.
