Dolly Parton is capitalizing on her success via a new meal line.
The country music legend announced the launch of single-serve frozen meals inspired by Parton's "cherished Southern-inspired favorites,” according to USA Today.
“The freezer aisle just got a boost of good, old-fashioned Southern charm,” according to Food & Wine. “Today, country music legend Dolly Parton and Conagra Brands expanded their already-lauded frozen food line with four new savory, single-serve entrees and one family-sized dessert. Dolly Parton has collaborated with Conagra Brands from the very beginning, making sure that every dish tastes just like the real deal. As they developed the recipes, Parton provided direct feedback on what needed tweaking — more salt, more seasoning, and most importantly, more flavor.”

The launch builds upon a successful partnership between Parton and Conagra Brands that began in 2022 with a line of baking mixes and frostings under the Duncan Hines brand, according to Meat + Poultry.
The frozen meals might be the best thing ever to happen to weeknight dinner, according to Southern Living.
“Today, after four years of culinary innovation, Parton officially announced the addition of savory single-serve meals to her growing list of branded products,” according to Southern Living. “While the country legend is no stranger to grocery store shelves, this latest endeavor marks her first foray into the frozen category. And in true Dolly form, she's starting off big with classics like shrimp and grits, chicken and dumplings, and even peach cobbler.”
Parton says she used to cook meals for herself to bring on tour. "Just so I would have this kind of food to eat, because it's what I crave," she explains of her classic comfort dishes.
She worked alongside Conagra to develop the dishes and make sure they were hearty, and, more than anything, flavorful, according to Southern Living.
