Tequila Cazadores’ new partnership with former professional fútbol player and actor (“Ted Lasso”) Cristo Fernández highlights a shared passion for Mexican heritage, tradition, craft -- and most of all, fans of the sport.
The premium tequila from Jalisco teamed up with Fernández to launch new fútbol fan kits, described as “a limited-time, game-day-ready experience,” being given away daily while supplies last. Customers can enter to win in the select U.S. cities of Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, San Francisco and Chicago, via the brand’s promo website at https://www.cazadores.com/us/en/futbolkit.
"This partnership is all about honoring the rich tradition and culture of fútbol," said Jay Needham, global senior brand director for Tequila Cazadores and Agave, in the announcement. "Whether fans are watching from the stands, their neighborhood bar, or their own living rooms, we wanted to give them a way to enjoy the game with spirit — literally and figuratively."

The Tequila Cazadores Fan Fútbol Kit includes: a limited-edition streetwear jersey, co-designed with Cristo Fernández and Icarus FC; a “message” from Cristo Fernández including hosting tips for game day; a ReserveBar gift code with a set of handmade glassware from Jalisco; Mexican snacks, a whistle, and a custom rally scarf.
The Fan Fútbol Kit is being promoted via Cazadores’ social media platforms @TequilaCazadores.
Also included in the kit is the recipe for a new custom fútbol cocktail, El Golazo, which contains Cazadores, agave nectar, lime juice, jalapeños and pineapple juice.
Tequila Cazadores was founded in 1922 in the highlands of Mexico, and is still crafted using the same recipe today. The brand is now part of the portfolio of Bacardi Limited, which is headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda.
