After more than six months of clean-up and assisting victims with putting their lives back together after the fires, Los Angeles is still in recovery mode and will be for the foreseeable future. Now more assistance is coming from an unlikely source in Loretto, Kentucky.
Marker’s Mark Kentucky bourbon has teamed up (pun intended) with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) to create a custom commemorative bourbon. The Maker's Mark Champion Selection x Los Angeles Dodgers bottle is the result, now available in limited release at retailers throughout the greater Los Angeles area for a suggested retail price of $74.99.
The distillery has donated the first barrel (approximately 275 bottles) to the LADF to use for “charitable auctions and events directly benefiting wildfire relief and recovery efforts across Los Angeles.” The LADF is promoting the limited release bourbon via its social media platforms.

Dodger fans can score their own limited-edition bottle during home games this baseball season. By visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Homebase Store at Dodger Stadium and making a donation of $500 or more, the donor will receive a free Maker's Mark Champion Selection x Los Angeles Dodgers bottle while supplies last.
The bottle is part of the Maker’s Mark’s Private Selection program, which enables individuals, brands and restaurants to purchase their own barrels.
Founded in 1995, the LADF is the official charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers and was created by then-team owner Peter O’Malley. The nonprofit has the mission to “tackle the most pressing problems facing Los Angeles” by improving education, health care, homelessness services and social justice for all Angelenos.
