Miller High Life Chills Out With Boozy Spaghett-sicle Push-Up Pops

The “Champagne of Beers” is giving consumers another beer-filled way to cool off this summer.

Miller High Life has launched the Spaghett-sicle, a push-up pop frozen treat based on the popular cocktail, the Spaghett. The drink (and the pop) combine High Life, an aperitif and lemon.

The Spaghett-sicle is described by the brand as having an  “unmistakable crisp Miller High Life flavor, with its champagne-like fizz, bold bitter orange, bright lemon and herbal notes.”

The Spaghett-sicles are available for home delivery in 6-packs for $79 through Tipsy Scoop’s Goldbelly ecommerce site  while supplies last. Individual Spaghett-sicles are available in Tipsy Scoop stores nationwide for $8 each.

Miller High Life’s Associate Brand Marketing Manager Jacquelyn Caldwell told Marketing Daily about the boozy frozen beer treat and how it reflects the brand’s “Welcome to the High Life” platform.

Marketing Daily: Why boozy push-ups?

Caldwell: The push-up pop format felt like the ideal way to bring the Spaghett cocktail to our fans in a refreshed way for summer. It’s fun and nostalgic, but also not overtly complicated -- you don’t have to mix a drink or pull out a blender.

It captures that no-fuss, easygoing spirit Miller High Life is known for, cutting through the overly curated summer drink scene. …The Spaghett-sicle transforms a classic dive bar cocktail into a frozen treat that’s suited for backyard hangs and patio lounging.

Marketing Daily: Where did the inspiration for the Spaghett-sicle come from?

Caldwell: The Spaghett-sicle was inspired by the growing popularity of spritz-style cocktails and, more specifically, the Spaghett … which started as a bartender favorite and became a summer staple. Partnering with Tipsy Scoop allowed us to translate the Spaghett’s iconic flavor profile—bubbly, bittersweet, citrusy—into something that feels right at home on a sunny day. It’s the latest in our long-running tradition of bringing the dive bar spirit home.

Marketing Daily: How do the Spaghett-sicles fit into Miller High Life's overall marketing strategy?

Caldwell: The Spaghett-sicle builds on Miller High Life’s ongoing dive bar platform—joining the ranks of (previous brand promotions such as) Dive Bar Sounds, Dive Bar-Fume and Dive Bar Hot Sauce.

It’s a fresh way to celebrate the authentic, unpretentious dive bar moments that define our brand, while appealing to both longtime fans and new drinkers through different experiences. By turning this dive bar spritz made with High Life into a frozen treat, we’re inviting people to enjoy summer in a simple, approachable way that fits within our “Welcome to the High Life” platform—one that celebrates the spirit of The Champagne of Beers and the everyday moments worth toasting.
