'The Athletic,' Range Rover Sport Celebrate Design

The Athletic
, the sports site owned by The New York Times, and Range Rover have launched a new campaign with architect-stadium designer David Manica. He designed the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The focus is the luxury Range Rover Sport SV. Manica juxtaposes the design, comfort and artistry of a stadium with the new luxe car. Range Rover Sport features a mild-hybrid Twin Turbo V8 engine that produces 626 HP and 553 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0-60mph in as little as 3.6 seconds.

Creative is by The Athletic and T Brand Studio, the branded content studio within New York Times Advertising. Adam Loeb directed.

The video “Designing For Sport” celebrates stadiums and the architects who design them, while drawing a comparison with the Range Rover Sport SV vehicle. Both boast great "sport design."
