Creative agency Colossus has appointed Micah Donahue as general manager of media. In the new role, he will build the agency’s media strategy, planning, buying and analytics capabilities.

Previously, the seasoned marketer was the senior vice president, media of Carbon. He also held media and account posts at Mechanica and MullenLowe.

Jonathan Balck, managing director of Colossus, says his new hire will strengthen client results.

The Boston-based agency has done work for Cantera Negra, Hitachi, Grey Whale and Highspring.
