Publix Taps Agency Known For Media Assignment

 

Supermarket chain Publix has appointed New York-based Known as its new media agency after a formal review, the company has confirmed. Earlier this year it shifted its creative account to Fig.  

The company had previously worked with 22Squared on the business for both creative and media.

Publix, which has over 1,400 stores across the Southeast, spent an estimated $87 million on measured media in 2024 according to agency research firm COMvergence.  

Publix issued a statement noting that it “routinely conducts business partner reviews and has recently completed an evaluation of media agencies. We can confirm we have engaged with Known as our new media agency and FIG as our new creative agency. We are grateful for the many years of partnership with 22Squared and their contributions.”
