College tuition and room and board are crazy expensive —
and many students hustle for extra cash.
The Home From College (H\FC)'s "Sell Your Skills, Not Your Stuff" campaign gives Gen Z a better option. Instead of selling their sperm or foot
photos, two humorous options in the out-of-home work, H\FC offers an alternative: real worth with real pay. To send that message, the company utilized TikTok influencer Micky Gordon
(@mickycashflow), who offers funny and relatable career advice to students. The rollout includes
New York and Los Angeles billboards and wild postings, as well as a digital push and macro creator amplification.

“Everyone’s got a story about the random, ridiculous way they made
money in college. It’s funny at the time, but it doesn’t actually set you up for what’s next in your career. Home From College is about channeling that same hustle and creativity
into real opportunities that pay, build skills, and move your career forward. This campaign starts with a laugh about how Gen Z scrapes together cash, but ends with something bigger: no matter your
background or access you have skills to offer,” CEO Julia Haber told Out To Launch.
The work debuted earlier this month, and according to the company, earned 500,000 impressions
across H\FC channels and out-of-home, plus a 5% CTR on Instagram commercials compared to the 1.5–2% industry average.
The company claims its on track to drive more than 27,000 new
nationwide sign-ups this month.
