For the first time, Victoria’s Secret has hired a professional athlete to walk in one of its fashion shows. 

WNBA star Angel Reese will be featured in the retailer’s fashion show on Oct. 15 in New York.

“Reese vowed last year to one day take part in the annual fashion extravaganza,” according to USA Today.  “Among her estimated 20 different endorsement deals is a new signature shoe from Reebok, which just went on sale last month. And she was featured on the cover of the NBA 2K26 WNBA edition video game.”

The show kicks off Reese’s global partnership with the brand, according to People, which broke the story. 

"I literally could not stop smiling!" Reese tells People about when she got the news. "It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel. This will be an unforgettable night that I’ll forever be grateful for.”

Reese announced the deal Thursday on Instagram.

The retailer also posted a video on Instagram showing the WNBA player in a pink robe, black lingerie and white feather wings, according to ESPN.
