Grubhub will be heading to the big game in 2026, with its first
national Super Bowl ad running during the game.
“Twenty years ago, we connected diners to their favorite local eats, and now we're entering a new era,” Grubhub Head of Brand Marnie
Kain said in a statement. “Our first-ever national Big Game spot is the most definitive signal of our renewed investment in the Grubhub brand and a massive brand refocus for the category we
helped build.”
Kain added that the brand’s Super Bowl appearance is intended to ”remind America why we are the authority in food delivery and what that means for our
future.”
The brand didn’t provide further details on the ad’s content, or when it will be running during the game.
Grubhub's national Super Bowl advertising
investment follows New York-based Wonder Group acquiring the company from Just Eat Takeaway in November of 2024 for roughly $650 million. Wonder also launched a relaunch campaign for Seamless, built around a $1 dollar pizza
slice deal across select New York City pizza restaurants.

Grubhub did have a regional Super Bowl ad back in 2015, which ran across five markets: Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles,
Miami, and Baltimore.
The brand may be going up against some of its rivals at the Super Bowl. Competitors iincluding DoorDash and Uber Eats have run Big Game campaigns in recent years.
