
Apple TV and NBCUniversal’s Peacock --
two of the premium streaming platforms that up to this point have avoided bundling with other streamers -- have decided to pair up in a streaming package giving consumers over 30% monthly price
savings.
Apple TV (rebranded recently from Apple TV+) and Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium+ will cost consumers $14.99 a month and $19.99 a month, respectively. The deal begins
October 20.
This compares to Apple TV and Peacock Premium, which currently costs just under $24 a month if purchased separately. Apple TV and Peacock Premium+ is just under $30 a
month.
Apple TV is an advertising-free platform with a current price of $12.99 a month.
Peacock Premium is a limited ad-supported option ($10.99), and Peacock Premium+ is
ad-free ($16.99).

As part of the deal Apple is also offering some Apple One subscribers (Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+) a 35% discount for a Peacock Premium+
subscription.
In addition, the two services will swap three episodes of seven shows appearing on each other’s streaming platforms.
Apple TV customers
will get “Bel-Air," “Twisted Metal,” “Happy’s Place,” “Law & Order," “Love Island Games,” “The Hunting Party” and “Real
Housewives of Miami.” Peacock users getting “Palm Royale,” “Stick” and “Slow Horses,” “Silo,” “The Buccaneers,”
“Foundation” and “Prehistoric Planet.”
NBCUniversal's Peacock started in July 2020 and currently has 41 million paid subscribers.
Apple TV+ launched
in November 2019 and Apple TV+ has "significantly more than 45 million” subscribers, according to company executives.
