Visit Iceland Promotes Northern Lights With Quirky Trio

To promote Iceland, M&C Saatchi Group and the Peel agency has produced an offbeat mockumentary spot with three "experts." The premise: A fictional society of Northern Lights fanatics help travelers get “Aurora-ready” for the Northern Lights.

The Visit Iceland campaign stars British comedian Joe Thomas ("The Inbetweeners"). The trio answers questions from their (33) fans and busts myths, such as: “No you can’t turn them off with a switch.”

The ad airs across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook community.

Iceland at Night (icelandatnight.is) is a site and Facebook community. The Glendale App is a free, web-based aurora alerting and forecasting app designed to help users track and predict auroras.
