LERMA/ Taps Creative Luminary Paco Conde To Be Its First Chief Creative Officer

Dallas-based cross-cultural ad agency LERMA/ has appointed Paco Conde as its first Chief Creative Officer since its founding in 2008. 

Conde is a global creative leader with a career spanning top agencies in Europe, North and South America. He has been behind some of advertising’s most culturally resonant campaigns including Dove Real Beauty Sketches, which won the Cannes Lions Titanium Grand Prix in 2013, when he was with Ogilvy Brasil. 

As Chief Creative Officer at Lerma/, Conde is tasked with shaping the agency’s creative vision and culture, overseeing all client accounts and new business efforts. 

LERMA/ has gained national recognition for campaigns such as the Christianity-promoting “He Gets Us,” and “Avocados From Mexico.” Last week the agency was appointed Hispanic agency of record for the National Pork Board (NPB).

Most recently Conde has served as executive creative director at Los Angeles-based agency Activista, which he co-founded with Anomaly Executive Chairman Carl Johnson and Beto Fernandez, now Chief Creative Officer at Translation.

Earlier he was ECD at Anomaly and group creative director BBH London. He served at Ogilvy Brasil for more than three years, lastly as ECD.
