
Global digital out-of-home and electric vehicle charging
network Jolt is acquiring a major portion of the Volta Media Network from Shell.
The deal is expected to close Dec. 31, marking the company's entry into the U.S. market. It currently runs
operations across Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the U.K.
The acquisition will add thousands of locations across the U.S., with sites spanning up to 34 states and 64 Designated Marketing
Areas (DMAs), including major metros such as Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas–Fort Worth. Brendan Dillion heads sales and revenue in North America.
The company's DOOH displays
with EV charging connects brands to consumers when they command their attention. Advertisers include McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Amazon, Uber, Toyota, Volkswagen, Audi, American Express, Target
and Subway.
