Anomaly's Visa Campaign Celebrates 2 Determined Olympians

Athletes are breaking records at the Olympics — and Visa wants to be part of their experience. Visa's campaign during the Milan Cortina Olympic and Paralympic campaign highlights the personal side of two star athletes: skiers Mikaela Shiffrin and Oksana Masters.

Their human experiences align with Visa's efforts to enable progress. The emotional spots run across broadcast, social, CTV and OLV on Netflix, Peacock, Paramount+, YouTube and Hulu.

Anomaly's creative spotlights resilience and determination that defines the two award winners. The work also embraces the world that surrounds athletes, including coaches, family members and fans. It builds on Visa’s “Everywhere You Want to Be” brand platform.

The 60-second spot focus on Shiffrin, the most-decorated alpine skier in history. The 30-second reveals the moving story of Oksana Masters, a multi-sport Paralympic champion. She insists: “It’s everything behind you that brings you to what’s ahead.”

“We've all seen a million athlete story campaigns. So how do you bring something different? You start at the truth of who these athletes are — icons of persistence who don't run from their past but use it to fuel what's next,” said Josh Fell, chief creative officer at Anomaly LA. “Visa's role then becomes clear. To be there with them on that journey.”

The agency's creative roster includes Budweiser, BMW Mini, Johnnie Walker Black Label and adidas.
