Edelman Taps VML For Its New Global Chief Strategy Officer

 

Edelman has named Anna Vogt Global Chief Strategy Officer.  

Vogt is joining from WPP agency VML where she has served as Chief Strategy Officer for the agency’s Europe, Middle East & Africa region, after serving in a similar capacity for the agency in the UK.  

Vogt succeeds Brent Nelsen, who is retiring.

She started her career as a WPP Fellow before holding senior strategy roles at BBH, MullenLowe (as Head of Planning), and TBWA London (as CSO).  

During her career she has worked with brands such as Unilever's Persil/OMO, Nestlé's KitKat, British Airways, Adidas, Dulux and Dubai Tourism. 

In addition to her award-winning work for brands she also co-led research for the Cannes Lions  Creative Strategy Council, later helping to create the Creative Strategy Lions category.
