
BuzzBallz has taken its latest merch drop to the other
side of the pond.
The portable round ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail recently launched BuzzBagz, a collection of spherically shaped handbags.
There are eight different designs, each
reflecting a different BuzzBallz RTD cocktail. A bright red bag is styled after the Strawberry ‘Rita with branded bag charms, while a yellow bag based on the Passionfruit Martini adds a designer
flair with a branded lock and key. A white Lotta Colada bag has Chanel-esque quilting and gold hardware.
Only available in the U.K. on Dec. 18 at Buzz-A-Porter.co.uk, the eight available bags
sold out within 40 seconds, according to the brand. Almost 4,000 consumers signed up to be on the waitlist.
“BuzzBallz have never just been a cocktail; they’re a whole vibe and the
unofficial accessory of every night-out storyline,” says Jess Scheerhorn, vice president, world aged spirits and cocktails, Sazerac, in a statement. “We’ve taken the bag classics
everyone knows and reinvented them the BuzzBallz way.”

The bags sold for only £3.99 (approx. $5.34), the same price as BuzzBallz in the U.K., but were valued at over £4,000
(approx. $5.353.60) each.
BuzzBallz launched in 2009, and is currently the top-rated RTD cocktail in the U.S.
Per a recent report from Research and Markets, the U.S. RTD cocktail
market is expected to reach $2.66 billion in revenue by 2033, up from $860 million in 2024. The report attributes this growth to “growing consumer interest in convenient, high-quality pre-mixed
cocktails, creative flavor options, and increasing popularity among millennials and Gen Z.”
