Land has hired Mike Behrends as creative director and Suzy Langdell as director of brand-growth strategy.
Based in Los Angeles, Party Land calls itself “comedy’s greatest
advertising agency.” This year, the indie shop won new work from eight brands, including Truly Hard Seltzer (social and digital AOR), Google Search, Chewy, Zevia, Peelz Citrus and
Reef.
The agency has a full pipeline of work heading into 2026, including new work for Men's Wearhouse (AOR). They both worked on a new campaign for TaxSlayer that launched Dec. 27 at
the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.
According to Oracle, 91% of people prefer brands that are funny, 90% are more likely to remember brands that make them laugh.
“We spent this last
year codifying how different brands can approach comedy. 2025 was our best year for business development in Party Land history,” said Haley Hunter, Chief Operating and Marketing Officer.
“Suzy is a talented account leader ... The fact she’s also a new business whisperer is a huge bonus. Bringing Mike in has been on our wish list since our Fallon days
together.”
