2026 humorous beer promotions
are off to a running -- or should we say mowing? -- start with Natural Light Beer’s latest contest.
The beermaker has released the Treadmower: a “first-of-its-kind turfed
treadmill” that provides the “simple joy of mowing the lawn” indoors. Featuring a custom mower deck and immersive screen that depicts an endless green lawn, the Treadmower attempts
to serve as a substitute for outdoor mowing during winter months. The brand hopes to “unite fans around their favorite pastime even as the temperatures drop, since it’s always summer in
the garage.”
“When January arrives and most people are setting their fitness resolutions, our fans are more worried about how mowing the lawn is off-limits during the winter. With
the Treadmower, we wanted to bring those crisp green stripes and blue skies back within reach,” Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing Busch Family & Natural Family, Anheuser-Busch told
Marketing Daily. “Natural Light consumers cherish their DIY time spent in the garage, so we designed the Treadmower to fit right in—steps away from both the workbench and beer
fridge—making it convenient to get a sweat in, finish up that home project and then enjoy a Natty after a job well done.”

treadmill. “The only home workout machine that gets you cut, while you pretend to cut,” says a voiceover. The man is encouraged to “Grab a Natty. You deserve it,” via the
immersive screen when finished.
Only one actual Treadmower is available, and customers can enter to win it by following Natural Light on Facebook, Instagram or X and commenting on designated
social posts using #nattytreadmower and #sweepstakes from Jan. 7-28.
