Norwegian
Cruise Lines has awarded its U.S. media assignment to WPP Media after a review, the companies have confirmed.
Miami-based NCL, which spends an estimated annual $100 million on
measured media in the U.S., had previously worked with Publicis Groupe agencies.
Word of the account win comes as Norwegian is breaking a new ad campaign that reintroduces the
previously used tagline “It’s Different Out Here.”

The new creative work is from Arnold Worldwide. Media includes TV, out of home (OOH), digital, social and
radio.
For WPP Media the win continues a streak of victories over the past several months, including Reckitt (Europe and India), Mastercard,
Maersk and TruGreen, among others.
That said, the firm still faces headwinds from major 2025 losses including Coca-Cola North America and the global Mars account.
Commenting on
the new creative effort, NCL CMO Kiran Smith, stated, “We’re not just launching a campaign – we’re re-anchoring our brand in the values that
have always set us apart: freedom and flexibility. For nearly 60 years, NCL has been an innovator, and this transformation honors that legacy while meeting the expectations of today’s
guests.”
