Leagas Delaney has
created two executive creative director roles, filled by Neil Clarke and Jay Phillips. They report to founder Tim Delaney.
The pair joined from BBH in 2025, where they worked on
Netflix and Samsung. Before that, the duo spent almost 10 years at AMV BBDO, attached to various accounts. The two created campaigns for Sheba, Snickers and HP, helping AMV win Agency of the Year at
Cannes Lions, D&AD and The One Show.
At Leagas Delaney, they will oversee clients Patek Philippe, Bombardier and Investec. Delaney describes them as “original thinkers as well as
born leaders,” while UK Group CEO Gareth Davies calls the promotions “a statement of our intent.”
Prior to AMV, Clarke and Phillips were creative directors at
The&Partnership, where they launched The Prince's Trust 'Tomorrow's Store' — an enterprise project that helped reduce UK youth employment and won a Grand Prix for design. Their first
role was at McCann London, working on American Airlines, Xbox and Heinz, as well as winning the Cannes Young Lions award.

Clarke and Phillips said: “Leagas Delaney is a fascinating
place. The client list is wonderfully eclectic. And there’s a real shared ambition to creatively push the agency forwards into the next exciting chapter. We both grew up on a council estate in
Manchester. If you’d told us back then we’d end up helping to run one of London’s most iconic creative agencies, full of luxury brands, we’d have ripped both your arms off. And
both your legs.”
Their remit will be to expand Leagas Delaney’s creative output. Additional agency clients include Royal British Legion, Whyte & Mackay, Isio, Lakestar and
Rothesay.
Founded in 1980 by Tim Delaney, LD has offices in five locations: London, Hamburg, Milan, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Leagas Delaney America is based in Los Angeles.
