WPP, which has an ambitious blueprint to
transform from a conventional agency holding company into an "unholding company," this morning announced a new, enterprise-level chief information officer role, and tapped Estée Lauder
Companies' Anne-Isabelle Choueiri to fill it.
"She is exactly the leader we need to drive bold, lasting change at WPP and I'm delighted to welcome her to the team as we work together to
unlock our next chapter of growth," WPP CEO Cindy Rose said in a statement, noting that the role was created to fulfill WPP's recently unveiled "Elevate28" transformation strategy to grow its business
over the next three years.
Choueiri most recently served as senior vice president-transformation at consumer marketing giant Estée Lauder.
Prior to that, she held senior
management consulting roles at Accenture, Masaï, and A.T. Kearney.
