Dentsu has appointed John Stauffer Practice President, Business Transformation (BX) – International Markets.  

The role is new and Stauffer will oversee the expansion of Dentsu’s consultative offering across markets outside of Japan. He takes on the role alongside his current position as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Merkle Americas. 

BX has been a growing offering in Dentsu Japan for the last decade and started expanding internationally in 2024. The unit now has a staff of more than 100 operating in 10+ markets including the US, UK and China.  

Stauffer will work with Akira Yoshida, President – BX, Dentsu Japan and Yuichi Toyoda, CEO, Denstu APAC.
