Mojo Selects Walrus As AOR To Expand Distribution

Creative agency Walrus has been named AOR for Mojo Energy Pouches, the alternative energy brand owned by Volt+Co.

The account was won after a competitive review. The decision to bring on a new shop reflects the desire to expand distribution nationwide.

Mojo is a caffeine pouch placed between the lip and gums and delivers 50 mg of naturally derived caffeine. It comes in six different flavors: blue raspberry, tropical punch, mint, peach watermelon, sour apple and cinnamon churro. The product is currently available in 7-Eleven, Circle K and select Walmart’s, as well as DTC and Amazon.

Walrus’ first assignment is to create a fully integrated national brand campaign. The work will launch in the third quarter.

As AOR, Walrus will lead brand strategy and creative, while working with media company Synergistic and Acceleration Community of Companies, which handles influencer and social channels.

“Alternative energy is a fast-moving and increasingly competitive category. We needed an agency partner who would help us not only secure Mojo’s first mover advantage, but dominate the category as well,” said Tiana Black, marketing director, energy. “Walrus is that partner.”

The global caffeine alternatives market size is expected to grow steadily from $1.79 billion in 2026 to nearly $3.73 billion by 2035, according to Towards Food and Beverages Consulting.

Walrus’ client list includes Amazon, Breeze Airways, Colgate, Lowes Foods and Walmart.
