Bombay Sapphire is kicking off the second year as the official gin partner of the UIM E1 World Championship, the world’s only electric boat race, with a hip new collab and event taking place at the epicenter of electronic dance music (EDM) and nightlife.

The E1 Ibiza Showrun 2026 takes place on the Spanish island this month, when the brand will unveil two E1 RaceBirds. One of the boats is in the Bombay Sapphire blue, and another is a “yet to be revealed one-off custom E1 livery.”  The event follows the last year’s E1 London Showrun 2025,  which took place on the Thames in July.

Bombay Sapphire has also announced  its new partnership with the Aoki Racing Team, which is owned DJ Steve Aoki, known for his high energy EDM shows (and his familiarity with the Ibiza nightlife).

The brand’s sponsorship of the UIM E1 World Championship is part of its ongoing Step into the Blue creative platform, which focuses on encouraging consumers to “join in actively seeking out, and embracing, moments of beauty in each day.”
