Ammunition Taps Ibarra, Parkes To Lead Client Partnerships

Digital-marketing agency Ammunition has added two to its senior ranks, reflecting its growth across North America and Europe.

Johan Ibarra becomes vice president, client partnerships. Before this, Ibarra was group account director at Collier Simon, part of Team 10x. His 20-year ad career includes global posts at Jellyfish, Omnicom and UM Worldwide. Brand work includes General Motors, Google and Visa. Ibarra is based in Atlanta.

Also joining the agency is Penny Parkes as vice president, client partnerships. Previously, she was vice president, growth EMEA at Transmission. Another two-decade advertising vet, she has a solid record in P&L ownership and strategic growth. Parkes is based in London.

Heilpern, Ammunition CEO, told Agency Daily: "As we continue to grow, both in the U.S. and internationally, we’re being really intentional about adding senior leaders who can help our clients navigate increasingly complex businesses and bigger growth ambitions. Johann brings deep automotive and industrial experience at a time when we're expanding our work in those categories. At the same time, Penny gives us additional senior client leadership on the ground in London, as we continue to build out Europe. They're both exceptional additions to an already very strong team."
