GSD&M has tapped Mark
Peters as senior vice president/group creative director. He will oversee the agency’s creative vision for the Corona account.
Peters reports to Jay Russell, Chief Creative Officer, who
said he could not wait to see “what creative genius [Peters] brings to the table.”
Previously, the award-winning Peters was group creative director at TBWA\ Chiat\Day LA, where he
helped lead the Gatorade brand as a force in the sports world. Prior to TBWA, Peters was a creative director on the Volkswagen account at Deutsch LA, including three Super Bowl campaigns.
Earlier, he held creative roles at The Martin Agency and Ogilvy LA. He makes his return to GSD&M as a “boomerang” hire, where he previously spent time working on the BMW and
AT&T accounts.
“There were two things that drew me to GSD&M: the opportunity to work on an iconic brand like Corona, and the chance to return to an agency with such an enduring
culture. That kind of culture is built through great leadership. I’m excited to be back and to help shape what comes next,” said Peters.
GSD&M’s creative work includes
Realtor.com, RAM, Capital One and Stanley.
