DreamWorks has partnered with animated self-care app Finch
to promote the upcoming release of one of the year’s most hotly anticipated animated films.
The gamified mobile self-care and mental health app has launched an in-app limited time
seasonal event incorporating “Forgotten Island,” DreamWorks’ upcoming animated fantasy-adventure. The film, which debuts in the U.S. Sept. 25, tells the story of two lifelong
best friends who get trapped on a mystical island. In order to return home, they have to race against time before they forget one another.
The app integration plays off the film’s themes
of friendship, courage and memories. During the month-long partnership, Finch users can follow a special 14-day story adventure with the film's Jo, Raissa and Raww characters, exploring a mystical
island inspired by the Filipino folklore upon which the film is based. Users will be able to unlock a new limited time micropet, King Truffle Wuffle, as well as island-themed outfits, décor and
four exclusive colorways.

“We partnered with ‘Forgotten Island’ because we think celebrating memories is an important aspect of self-care,” Finch Co-Founder Stephanie
Yuan told Marketing Daily. “The experiences that shape us are an important part of our well-being, and taking time to reflect on them can be a meaningful part of any self-care journey.
Through this story and our in-app experience, we wanted to celebrate the power of reconnecting with ourselves and the people who matter most.”
Finch is promoting the “Forgotten
Island” partnership via its owned socials on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, as well as in its various online communities, in app stores as well as through paid media.
