LaConti Heads Fine Living Ad Sales

With a top sales executive having moved to the Tennis Channel, Scripps' Fine Living network has tapped a replacement for one of his duties. Jonathan LaConti, a five-year veteran at Scripps, becomes vice president of ad sales for the lifestyle channel.

LaConti has been an account executive in national sales at Scripps since 2002. The network now has distribution just shy of 50 million homes.

Jon Steinlauf, senior vice president of ad sales for Scripps Networks, said LaConti is "creative with passion for both the small details and the big-picture client objectives."

LaConti takes over one role held by Gary Herman, who led sales for both Fine Living and sister outlet DIY, before leaving for the Tennis Channel last month.

The Tennis Channel is in some 20 million homes. There, Herman heads sales and reports to former Fine Living founder Ken Solomon.
