Kay Sponsors 'SportsCenter'

Kay Jewelers has signed on as the presenting sponsor of ESPN's telecast next week, celebrating its long-running "This is SportsCenter" on-air promos.

The hour-long special airs Tuesday at 8.

The 12-year-old campaign is crafted by agency Wieden + Kennedy, which had previous expertise in sports via managing the Nike account for years.

"This is SportsCenter" spots offer a humorous take on the preparation that goes into the network's flagship news/highlights show, suggesting that sports stars are even on-site working alongside anchors.

The special will offer snapshots of more than 50 of the promos, and will offer three for the first time.
