After 10 years at the helm of Aegis Group's Carat unit, David Verklin is stepping down as part of a reorganization of Aegis Media's operations in the Americas. Sarah Fay has been promoted to CEO of Aegis Media North America from CEO of Carat US and Isobar US, picking up responsibility for Canada and joining the Aegis Media executive committee.

In a related move, Aegis said it was forming a new Aegis Media Latin America division, which will report directly to Mainardo de Nardis, CEO of Aegis Media Global. No CEO was announced for Aegis Media Latin America.

The ascendancy of Sarah Fay comes nine months after she was promoted to CEO of Carat US as part of a reorganization that merged Carat and its digital media unit, Carat Fusion.
