    As part of the Trump administration’s aggressive vetting policy, the State Department wants to require that all U.S. visa applicants share their social media usernames, previous email addresses and phone numbers. “The department said it wants the public to comment on the proposed new requirements, which will affect nearly 15 million foreigners who apply for visas to enter the U.S. each year,” The Associated Press reports.
  • Under Armour App 'MyFitnessPal' Suffers Major Data Breach
    An estimated 150 million users of the MyFitnessPal app have been compromised by a data breach, parent company Under Armour has revealed. “The investigation indicates that affected information may include usernames, email addresses, and hashed passwords,” CNBC reports. “Payment information, which Under Armour collects and processes separately, has not been affected by the breach.”
