Best Buy Program Helps Teen Charities

  • November 12, 2009
Just in time for the holidays, Best Buy Co. has created @15 Gifts, a philanthropic initiative through which consumers can purchase designated, marked electronic products -- from DVDs to eReaders -- and Best Buy will contribute a portion of the proceeds to a fund for nonprofits targeting teens.

The fund, called the @15 Fund, is a teen-led social change platform, through which teens have a voice in directing Best Buy's philanthropic giving. To date, the fund has directed more than $750,000 to organizations such as Genesys Works, Youth Venture and Teens Against Bullying.--Aaron Baar
