Mitsubishi Motors is going big-box. The company last month began offering Sam's Club Members incentives, including 0% financing for 60 months and special lease rates on select new 2009 and 2010
vehicles, including the new Lancer Sportback and redesigned 2010 Outlander.
The Wal-Mart division is making the offer through the Sam's Club Auto Buying Program as an alternative to the
traditional method of buying a car or truck. Mitsubishi is offering the deal through Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, Inc.
Mitsubishi started showing its cars at Sam's Club locations last
month and will continue to do so through Feb. 1. The Cypress, Calif.-based automaker only sold 2,925 vehicles in the U.S. in November, a 24.4% drop from October when it sold 3,867 vehicles.--Karl
