Constant Contact, the heavily marketed email service provider that is building its event-marketing business, said it has tapped a company insider to serve as CFO on an interim basis. Bob Nault, vice president and general counsel, takes the post at the end of the month.

Gail Goodman, Constant Contact CEO, said a search for a permanent CFO is continuing.

"We have seen a number of high-quality candidates, and we are optimistic that we will complete the search process in the near term," she stated.

Nault will oversee finance, accounting and investor relations for the NASDAQ-listed company.

Before joining the 15-year-old email marketing firm, Nault held general counsel roles at an electronic security company and investment management firm.
