R/GA won four awards, including Best In Show, during the 2010
Digital Out-of-Home Media Awards . The awards,
which were held May 13th, following MediaPost's
Digital Out-of-Home Media Forum in New York, recognized the best
campaigns in 12 categories.
R/GA took top honors in the "Best Integration With Online Media" category for an innovative campaign for Nokia that utilized a variety of place-based, mobile and
online digital media tied to an exclusive concert performance by Rihanna. The "Rihanna Live" campaign also won "Best In Show."
R/GA also won the "Best Integration With A Mobile Device" category
for a campaign for Verizon Wireless that introduced its Motorola Droid phone by demonstrating its Google Voice search application via a digital billboard in New York's Times Square.
R/GA also won
"Best Paring Of Advertising And Venue" for a campaign for American Eagle Outfitters that allowed consumers in its flagship Times Square store to have their photos displayed for 15-seconds on a digital
billboard above the store.

SapientNitro took two awards for innovative use of digital display vending machines, including "Most Innovative Use A Digital Out-of-Home Platform" for its Coca-Cola
Interactive Vending Machine, and "Most Innovative Technology/Platform" for a "smile-activated" vending machine that dispensed free Wall's ice cream bars on behalf of the Unilever brand.
