  • July 1, 2010

It may be summer, but it's never too early to be thinking about hockey.

Video game company 2K Sports is embarking on an 14-city cross-country tour of the northern U.S. and Canada to show off its upcoming NHL 2K11 game for the Wii system.

The company has commissioned a custom-designed RV rigged with game gear to give fans the chance to preview the game and compete for prizes.

The tour, which will include stops in Vancouver, Calgary, Minneapolis, Detroit and Chicago, will also feature appearances from NHL players, such as Ryan Kesler of the Vancouver Canucks (who is also featured on the cover), Los Angeles Kings defenseman Jack Johnson and New Jersey Devils forward Travis Zajac.
