After going to AOL to grab its CEO late last year, Invision has returned to the Internet company for a new CFO. Kami Ragsdale joins Invision, which provides networks with software for ad sales
management, in its top financial post.
She will report to CEO Lynda Clarizio, also a former AOL executive. At AOL, Ragsdale was a senior vice president of financial planning and analysis.
Clarizio was head of AOL's Platform A digital advertising service before taking over 17-year-old Invision in December.
Invision has been trying to expand its TV business. Its DealMaker system
allows the creation of proposals and tracking of audience guarantees, among other functions, into cross-platform deal-making, where spots are linked with digital and mobile inventory.
Ragsdale
stated that she intends to help the company serve sales operations "across every distribution channel."
DealMaker was launched for the 1999 upfront, and Invision counts about 45 clients, such as
NBC Universal, Univision and BET. Recently, it added the Gospel Music Channel and Ovation.
Before joining AOL in 2002, Ragsdale, a CPA, worked at Clear Channel.
Invision is privately held
with VC support and investments from its founder, Christine Watkins.
