Newegg Prepares For Post-Holiday Period

Newegg, the online consumer electronics retailer, is getting ready to help consumers who may be shedding their old electronics in favor of the ones they just received as gifts.

The online retailer has teamed with Gazelle, which facilitates trade-ins of unwanted gadgets across 20 categories, allowing Newegg customers to turn in their older products for gift-cards at Newegg.

"Our trade-in program is a great option for our customers who are either looking to 'de-clutter' after the holidays or who want to more affordably trade up to the latest gadgets," said Bernard Luthi, vice president of marketing, web management and customer service for Newegg, in a statement.
