After several
weeks of incendiary comments, Charlie Sheen has been removed from his starring role on CBS hit "Two and a Half Men." Series owner and producer Warner Bros. put out a statement saying it had ended its
relationship with Sheen.
"After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on "Two and a Half Men" effective immediately," the statement said.
Warner Bros. said no decisions have been made as to whether the series will continue. With a total cancellation, Warner Bros. stands to lose hundreds of millions in syndication fees, but the hit
could be reduced if Sheen is replaced on the show. Repeats are expected to continue airing on CBS with production shut down.
Sheen, who has been taking shots at CBS and show creator Chuck
Lorre, released a statement to TMZ.com saying: "This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take
all of their bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."

Some sort of
legal battle is likely to ensue.
Sheen is currently one of Ad.ly's celebrity tweeters and could make $1 million a year with sponsored tweets.
