Predictive Behavioral Targeting Firm Launched, Gets Big VC Backing

Taykey, an online ad platform developed by former intelligence officers of the Israeli Defense Ministry, officially launched this morning. The service utilizes proprietary technology to analyze real-time data capable of predicting where online users will "be next," effectively serving as a predictive behavioral targeting tool. In a related move, Taykey said it closed a $9 million round of funding from Sequoia Capital, Softbank Capital and Crescent Point, which will be used to help the Tel Aviv-based company to build out a New York City-based sales team.
