The Gorilla Your Dreams: Facebook Display

The big debate on the big “Gorilla” (you know, Facebook) panel at OMMA Display is what the difference is between conventional online display and Facebook’s version of it.

Jeff Einstein, a partner in Brother’s Einstein, basically said he does’ see the difference, and most of his fellow panelists more or less agreed, making me wonder what the point of the whole discussion is.

One big difference, according to Deep Focus CEO Ian Schafer is that when you place a display ad on Facebook, and it is “successful,” it creates “more impressions,” because of the whole social aspect of the platform.
