US Airways will celebrate new service at Washington, D.C.'s Reagan National Airport with a month-long campaign of promotions.
Called "30 Days for D.C.," a different
event will take place each day from July 7 through Aug. 5.
The campaign kicked off with a double miles offer for Dividend Miles members who book trips that start or end at Reagan National
Airport between July 7 and Aug. 5 for travel July 7 through Sept. 30. On July 8, US Airways presented the USO of Metropolitan Washington with a check for $10,000 and served pizza to active duty

The campaign promotes the new service between Washington's downtown airport and 22 new communities in the U.S. and Canada. Service to 17 new communities began last spring and on July 11, the
airline will begin service between Reagan National and Augusta, Ga., Minneapolis, Fayetteville, Ark., Montreal, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario.
To support the expanded service, US Airways has
added 100 new jobs at Reagan National, is adding three new gates on the Center Pier and will open a new US Airways Club -- its second in the airport -- conveniently located near the new departure
gates.
US Airways' expanded service in Washington will connect customers in communities of all sizes with the nation's capital, said Andrew Nocella, US Airways' senior vice president,
marketing and planning.
"Our '30 Days for D.C.' campaign is our way of showing thanks to our customers in these communities and our focus city of Washington, D.C. for embracing the new
flights,” Nocella said in a release. “It also demonstrates our commitment to making Washington, D.C., which is home to 1,200 US Airways employees, a better place to live and work through
community service activities."
