CBS' 'Vegas,' CW's 'Beauty & the Beast' Earn High Buzz Scores

AnimalPractice-2_1The biggest buzz for the upcoming fall season shows have CBS' “Vegas,” CW's “Beauty & the Beast” and NBC's “Animal Practice” getting high marks.

CBS' "Vegas," starring Dennis Quaid, got a 26% score under the "Most Anticipated New Programming" category. CW's "Beauty & the Beast" was next with a 20% score. Then came three shows tied at 15%: NBC's "Animal Practice," Fox's "The Mob Doctor" and NBC's "Guys with Kids." NBC's new drama, "Revolution," earned a 14% score.

These results came from a recent Yahoo/Entertainment Weekly survey done with Ipsos MediaCT, in which 2,000 Americans ages 18-64 took an online quantitative survey.

When it comes to returning shows, CBS scored good results: Viewers were most interested in "The Big Bang Theory," at 30%, followed by "NCIS" at 28%; and "Two and a Half Men" at 22%. Fox's "Bones" earned a 21%.

In the battle of the fall singing competition shows, viewers have given an edge to Fox's "X-Factor," pulling an 80% score, citing new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as reasons. The score took in a 59% for women viewers. NBC's "The Voice" had a lower overall score with 54%.

Looking for a good TV show title?  Viewers gave Fox's "The Mob Doctor" a 45%, NBC's "Guys with Kids" 37%, ABC's "666 Park Avenue" 30%, and CBS' "Made in Jersey" just 17%.
